Clothing retailer Urban Outfitters is, once again, facing controversy over apparel featuring a six-pointed blue star on a yellow T-shirt, resembling the uniform Jews were forced to wear during the Holocaust.
The Anti-Defamation League in Philadelphia publicly criticized the contentious design, saying it evokes memories of Nazi anti-Semitism.
“We find this use of symbolism to be extremely distasteful and offensive, and we are outraged that your company would make this product available to your customers,” wrote Barry Morrison, regional director of the ADL.
